This past weekend my friend Julie Vinup and I lost our minds and drove to Orlando to meet up with our fellas who had flown down on a training flight from Columbus. It was quite a drive and I'll even admit to a few wrong turns. We saw a whole new area of Alabama that we didn't even know was there. Sea World was lots of fun, after the GIGANTIC storm that stranded us under a ticket awning for about an hour with lighting and thunder that was unsettling to even the adults. Don't worry though, we had ponchos. :) The kids loved the park and we were on to the Magic Kingdom the next day. While some drove in and others took the shuttle :) we had a great time once we got there. Lot and lots of rides and I even saw a parade with my new pal William. It was wonderul to spend time with a great family that we will dearly miss when they move all too soon. Here's to the Vinup's! They survived a spur of the moment Slovinsky road trip! Molly and Emily Vinup at Sea World, after the monsoon.

Marty with Molly and Emily Vinup on the Sea World version of the tea cups, I got off the ride feeling sick and wobbly, I'm just not hardy.

Marty and the kids watching the Shamu show, Brady was astonished.

After the Buzz Lightyear ride Molly and the Vinups jumped into jail with Zurg.
Brady and I played in Toon Town while the bigger kids rode on a roller coaster. Brady had a blast and I enjoyed sitting down for a few minutes.

Molly didn't meet Ariel on our first trip so we met her this time. Molly was soaking wet after running through water shoots.

Brady loves pirates ever since watching the Veggie Tales movie. He is now swinging his sword and singing the song.

This weekend we had fun doing lots of differnt things, these are some pictures from the Sunday and Monday.
Molly took to some serious tears and even staged a sit in on the field when she was told that she could not play in the men's flag football game. She took it pretty hard.

Brady was trying to show the fellas from our small group that he was good enough

to get into their flag football game. He didn't make the cut.

Marty and the rest of the guys from our church small group found their youth
whilst playing flag football. Here Marty is with Matt Sasser and Sam Allsion, two men who went all out to catch passes from Marty, including some crazy diving catches.

Molly wth friends Austen and Meah, trying on flag football cones

as hats. You can see Brady running to keep up.

Molly with two other little girls from church, Meah and Madilyn.

Molly and Brady had a blast going down the water slide at the Vinup's house, as you can
see from their faces. Brady can't go up to the slide but loved splashing in the water at the bottom.

Molly wanted to bounce with the boys but there was a speck of water and she freaked out about it.

Molly dressed herself up to go out with Marty, looking good.

Molly spent this afternoon painting and doing chalk drawings and singing the whole time.

We made Fourth of July cupcakes for Marty's flight. Brady decided that he really like chocolate cake batter. He was covered and asking for more.

Brady has taken to enjoying wearing Marty's boots and hat, he falls over as soon as he tries to walk in the boots, it's pretty funny.

Brady was snuggled in watching a cartoon.

This was in the middle of some game the kids play where one wears the blanket and scares the other, usually the one with the blanket falls and bangs their head.

Brady and I were playing and he jumped right into the coffee table, leading with his head. By the time I jumped up from the floor and got to the freezer he looked like he had an egg on his face.

Brady has taken to zapping us with this drills, it's pretty funny.

Marty and Molly on Father's Day, Brady was not cooperating for pictures.

Brady has taken to sleeping with at least 5 night nights, he covers himself with them.

Molly fell asleep looking like she had passed out due to too much chocolate milk. It was a hoot.

I love this picture, Molly fell asleep with one of my old dolls and she hung on all night.
This past weekend we went to the Birmingham to the science center and the zoo. The kids loved it and all went well until the crazy severe thunderstorms came and drove us out of the zoo and off the interstate. More family stories.

This is Molly telling us about the weather. She really tried to describe what was happening while the other kids just danced around. It was adorable.

This one is for Uncle Jeremy. :)

Marty and the kids looking at the fish.

Brady LOVED the car that you can service, we had to pull him away...Molly hurt herself, go figure.

Brady is loving the game he calls "McQUEEN!"

Molly was rocking some feathers

I just thought that this was a funny picture.
